Zendaya turned 30 on September 1.

Her mom celebrated the actress’s milestone birthday by sharing a throwback photo on Instagram.

She referred to Zendaya as “the love and light of [her] life.”

Zendaya’s mom rang in the actress’s 30th birthday with a sentimental Instagram post. On September 1, Claire Stoermer shared a rare childhood photo of her daughter to celebrate the milestone.

“Happy 30th birthday to the love and light of my life!! Even [though] you’re not on socials anymore, and you won’t see this,” Stoermer captioned the snapshot, which saw a young Zendaya in an adorable floral dress. “We just got off FaceTime!!”

Stoermer shares Zendaya with her ex-husband, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman. They were married for nearly a decade before divorcing in 2016. The Dune star has five older half siblings from her father’s previous relationship.

Back in June, Stoermer spoke out after the shocking end of Euphoria. Following the HBO show’s finale, she took to social media to share a cryptic message.

“Lots of messages in my DMs from people about last night’s episode. I’m gonna keep my thoughts to myself. Definitely made me sad….and other emotions as well. But just gonna leave it right there,” she wrote, according to People.

In the final episode, Zendaya’s Rue Bennett—the show’s lead—dies after she overdoses on pills laced with fentanyl.

In the comments of an Instagram upload from Bustle, which also showed Stoermer’s Stories post, fans expressed their disappointment with Euphoria‘s conclusion in the comments.

“I’d be pissed too if my child worked somewhere for seven years, got them multiple awards just for them to lace her on the couch,” one fan wrote.

“Cause Rue did not deserve the ending she was givennnnn! But who knows it might have been creative differences. But also why message her mom,” another said.
