Vera Wang rang in her 77th birthday with a new blonde lob
The designer showed off the stylish look in a series of Instagram posts of her lavish celebration
Wang is known for switching up her hairstyles
Vera Wang is celebrating her birthday in style.
The fashion designer, who turned 77 on Saturday, June 27, rang in the milestone with an elaborate party and a new hairstyle. Wang showed off the look in a series of Instagram posts that featured snaps from the gathering, as well as multiple angles of the designer's new blonde lob.
"JUST DOWN THE HALL !!! B'DAY TIME !!!🎂🥳🎉❤️," she captioned one carousel shared on Monday, June 29. In the photos, Wang can be seen walking down a hallway in a white halter gown from her line's Haute collection.
In place of her usual long, brunette locks, the designer sports a shoulder-length honey-blonde lob.
Another post shared a day later shows Wang seated at a long table full of guests as she's presented with a white cake topped with sparklers and the number "77."
Wang is known for experimenting with hairstyles.

At the Met Gala in May, she stepped out with platinum blonde hair that was pulled back into an effortless style with face-framing pieces.
The designer wore a skin-baring black dress featuring a black bandeau top and a black skirt with a single strap that wrapped around her neck. The look also featured a voluminous black sleeve on one arm.
She wore a similar look at the 2026 BAFTA Awards in February.
Wang could be seen rocking a platinum blonde look with dark roots — a major departure from her look the previous day, when she could be seen sporting long brown locks at the BAFTA Film Awards Nominees' Party.
The designer's outfit — by her eponymous brand — included a white floor-length ruched dress, accented with long black puffed sleeves. She paired the gown with black cat-eye sunglasses.
As for the BAFTA Nominees' Party, Wang also made a statement in a black skin-baring bandeau top along with elbow-length black leather gloves and a fitted skirt. She accessorized with a black oversized hat and a fur wrap.
