If blondes do have more fun, Valerie Bertinelli must be having a ball.

The Golden Globe-winning actress and culinary personality, known for her signature brunette locks, threw fans a style curveball when she debuted a platinum blonde hairstyle on social media Monday, Nov. 10.

In the photo, shared on Bertinelli's Instagram page, the "One Day at a Time" alum, 65, gave a soft smile for the camera as her lighter tresses fell over her white collared shirt and gray jacket.

"New hair, who dis?" Bertinelli playfully captioned the post. She also name-dropped celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, best known for his work with reality-TV star and media mogul Kim Kardashian.

Bertinelli later confessed in the post's caption that the bold hair look was a wig.

The actress and TV personality has previously gotten candid about aging and her physical appearance, including embracing her gray hair.

In a 2024 Instagram video captioned "PSA about filters and grey roots," Bertinelli revealed she sometimes uses the app's filters feature to alter her appearance. She also bent her head down to show off her gray hair after explaining that a follower had accused her of wearing a wig.

"Can you get me a wig without flipping gray roots then, please? Because I'm tired of getting my roots done every two weeks," Bertinelli said at the time. "Thank goodness 99.9% of you are really kind, sweet people and don't give a flying flip whether I have roots or I put a filter on. But some of y'all need to chill out, OK? I mean, seriously."

Bertinelli might not be grabbing a bottle of hydrogen peroxide anytime soon, but the world is ready for Blondinelli.

"Oh, you in my wig closet?!?😂🤣😍😍😍 I LOVE this color on youuuuu!!!!!!!" Food Network star Sunny Anderson wrote in the comments of Bertinelli's Instagram post.

"What a stunner 😍," hairstylist Chris Appleton commented.
