Trump's Primetime Address Will Interrupt “Masked Singer” Finale, “Survivor” and More

The Masked Singer finale and a two-hour special episode of Survivor are among the primetime slots that will be affected
President Donald Trump's April 1 address will interrupt several major primetime shows.
Trump, 79, will address the nation at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 1, to "provide an important update on Iran," according to a post from White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
His remarks, which will be broadcast on Fox, CBS, NBC and ABC, will interrupt several major TV shows, including the finale of The Masked Singer and a two-hour episode of Survivor.
Both The Masked Singer (Fox) and Survivor (CBS) are slated to run from 8 to 10 p.m. ET but will pause for Trump's address and then resume. The episodes will pick up where they left off at 9:20 p.m. ET, and run until 10:20 p.m. ET, airing in their entirety, the networks confirmed.

America's Culinary Cup will air after Survivor on CBS, from 10:20 to 11:20 p.m. ET.
On NBC, episodes of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. will also be delayed. Chicago Med will air as scheduled, from 8 to 9 p.m. ET, and Chicago Fire will air after Trump's address concludes, at 9:20 p.m. ET, followed by Chicago P.D. at 10:20 p.m. ET.
According to Deadline, ABC will air reruns of The Greatest Average American and Shark Tank from 9:20 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET, instead of new episodes as previously slated, due to the address.

Survivor's April 1 episode follows a dramatic double elimination on March 25. Charlie Davis and Angelina Keely were both voted off during the latest episode.
"I think Christian might be out for some Goliath blood, so here I am," Keeley, a season 37 David vs. Goliath alum, said in her final confessional. "Honestly, I loved the chance to play again and give the thing that I wanted the most, my jacket. And it is getting cold out here, so they're gonna need it."
Davis, meanwhile, said in his final interview that he "might have played a little too hard" as he reflected on his journey. "Blindsiding — it's really fun to do it, it's not fun to be on the receiving end. I gotta sit with that now."

The Masked Singer finale, meanwhile, will see four finalists go head-to-head: Cat Witch, Galaxy Girl, Crane and Pugcasso.
The identity of Cat Witch was revealed to be Kylie Cantrall earlier this season to viewers, but the panel of judges — Rita Ora, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy and Ken Jeong — don't know that.
The Masked Singer is available to stream on Hulu and on Disney+ with the Hulu on Disney+ bundle; Survivor streams on Paramount+; and the One Chicago shows stream on Peacock.
