The couple chose their daughter's name years ago, but are keeping it private for now

Derrick Kosinski and his wife Nicole are expanding their family!
The Challenge star, 42, and his wife are expecting their second baby together, a girl, they confirm exclusively to PEOPLE. The two, who also share son Maverick, 21 months, say that their little girl is already "so loved."
"We had been planning for this next chapter, so seeing the positive test was exciting and special, knowing it was something we hoped and prayed for," they tell PEOPLE. "She is already so loved."

"So far, we've kept the news between our kids and the grandparents," they continue. "The thought of our daughter joining our crew of Kosinski boys has everyone especially excited."
"There's been plenty of nausea and a lot of exhaustion so far, but this little girl is such a gift. Knowing that truly outweighs the not-so-great symptoms."

Kosinski and Nicole have already started talking names for their little one — in fact, they've been discussing the perfect moniker for quite a while.
"We do have a name, actually. We chose it years ago, before we even had our son!" they tell PEOPLE. "It already feels so perfect for her, but we're keeping it close to our hearts for now."
Alongside his son Maverick, Kosinski is also dad to teenage son Derrick Jr., 17. The proud dad says his older son is excited about becoming an older sibling again.
"Our little guy already checks Mommy's belly for his little sissy. He is soooo happy to become a big brother and have a built-in best friend," they say of their son Maverick. "Derrick Jr. is excited to now be a big brother x2!"

Thinking ahead to his next chapter, Kosinski says he's just excited to be surrounded by all the things that come with being a girl dad.
"Having grown up with two younger brothers and raising two sons of my own, I'm embracing stepping into this new journey of being a girl dad," he shares. "From braiding hair to playing with Barbies, I'm ready for all the joys and surprises that come with it. I'm especially happy that Maverick, our baby boy, will have a little sister to grow up with and share life's adventures."
