Tate McRae Just Responded To Fans Calling Her MAGA

You may know her for radio hits, her iconic dance moves, and/or her controversial associations with some controversial men.

It all started when McRae collaborated with country singer Morgan Wallen for their hit song, “What I Want," last year. Morgan Wallen has consistently faced backlash over his problematic behavior, which includes breaking COVID-19 protocols, multiple arrests, and his past use of a racial slur. While he has since apologized for his actions, many haven't forgiven, and many most DEFINITELY haven't forgotten.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, she stated, “I don’t think you should regret anything in life, because it gives you so much clarity. I think controversy and criticism is a way of learning and figuring out what you want to move forward with, and how that shapes you as a person. I think it’s all important."

If you don't remember, Jack Hughes expressed excitement about visiting the White House after his team's Olympic win. This was after the team had already faced backlash for laughing at Donald Trump's distasteful comments about the women's hockey team.

She stated, “I like to say my piece through organizations I support and the environment that I have on tour. I think it’s pretty obvious what kind of person I am and the things I support. And I hope that my fans can see that through the things that I’m putting my energy towards.”
