Tony Goldwyn may not have played a particularly great family man on Scandal, but in real life, he's a long-married husband and proud father of two.
Goldwyn wed his wife, Jane Musky in 1987. The couple met in the summer of 1981, through a mutual friend who had a crush on Musky. "He said, ‘There’s this girl I’m obsessed with, and she likes to run, and I don’t have any running shoes,’” Goldwyn recalled during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryanin 2017. The actor lent his friend the running shoes, earning an invitation to the date.
“We ended up running up to this beautiful pond and going skinny dipping. He was like, ‘I’m not getting in that water, there's living things in there, you guys go swimming,’ ” Goldwyn continued. “He kind of stopped running with us, and then Jane and I kept running. We’re still running.”
After dating for five years, the two married and welcomed welcomed two daughters: Anna, born on on May 8, 1990, and Tess, who joined the family on March 6, 1995.

For their 35th wedding anniversary in 2025, Goldwyn posted this throwback photo of himself and his wife on the set of Ghost. Musky, who's a production designer, helped bring the Jerry Zucker-directed film to life. "35 years ago Jane and I got to share the experience of making GHOST. Here we are on the amazing set she created for Sam and Molly’s apartment," he wrote in part.

The Law & Order star was in super-gushy dad mode as he celebrated his daughter Anna's 30th birthday in 2020. "30 years ago this extraordinary human came into our lives," he wrote. "Words cannot express what a blessing she’s been. My baby girl. My intimate friend. My partner in adventure (and misadventure). Happy Birthday Anna!!! Your life force inspires me every day. I love you so. ❤️🎂🎉"

And for her 31st birthday in 2021, Tony shed light into their teasing daddy-daughter dynamic, writing, "Happy Birthday to my beautiful Anna!
