Mustafa Ali is officially getting his rematch for the TNA International Championship, but the road to TNA Lockdown took a deeply personal turn on the Aug. 6 episode of TNA iMPACT.

After a tense backstage confrontation involving Jason Hotch’s family, the former allies are now set to settle their score inside a steel cage.

The match comes just one week after Hotch stunned Ali by capturing the TNA International Championship despite Ali’s objections to the title challenge.

Now, with Order 4 seemingly falling apart, the rivalry has gone from faction friction to a full-blown cage fight.

Mustafa Ali and Jason Hotch rivalry reaches breaking point before Lockdown

On iMPACT, Hotch was backstage with his family before leaving for a championship photoshoot. While he was away, Ali entered the locker room and sat beside Hotch’s wife, saying Hotch had “bit the hand that fed him” and that he would do whatever it took to reclaim the title.

Referring to himself as “Uncle Ali,” he pointed at Hotch’s daughter and said he’d “always take care” of her. Ali then placed his hand on Hotch’s wife’s leg and added that he would take care of her as well. It was a moment that crossed the line faster than a referee avoiding a chair shot.

Once Hotch learned what had happened, he confronted Ali and the remaining members of Order 4, including John Skyler, Tasha Steelz, Agent Zero, and Mila Moore. The confrontation quickly turned physical, leading both sides to agree to an International Championship match inside a steel cage at Lockdown.

The fallout didn’t end there. Hotch officially walked away from Order 4 and urged longtime tag team partner John Skyler to leave the faction as well. However, Skyler declined, saying he still needed the job with Ali.

With emotions running high and the championship on the line, Lockdown now has one of its most personal matches on the card. This time, there will be no escape route — literally or figuratively — when Ali and Hotch step inside the cage.
