Michael B. Jordan took a bit of a detour after nabbing his Best Actor win at the 2026 Oscars, and ended up causing a frenzy at a local In-N-Out Burger!
The dual *Sinners* star, who took home the award for playing both twins Smoke and Stack in Ryan Coogler's decorated vampire period piece, was spotted by fans in the unexpected — but very relatable — fast food restaurant after Sunday night's ceremony.
Clips circulating on social media show the 39-year-old actor beaming at the large group of cheering fans as he posed with his trophy at the counter. At one point, Jordan is visibly chuffed as those around him start shouting his name.
One can't blame Jordan for taking the opportunity to grab a bite to eat after such an emotional evening at the Academy Awards ceremony.
The first-time Oscar winner was noticeably stunned when fellow Best Actor winner Adrien Brody announced his name as this year's award recipient, having overtaken fellow frontrunner Timothée Chalamet. The *Fruitvale Station *star went into the night with only a sole win during the season's precursor awards, whereas the *Marty Supreme *star had two, including the comparable category at the Golden Globes.
But Jordan came out on top to take home gold against an impressive list of stars, including former winner Leonardo DiCaprio for *One Battle After Another*, Wagner Moura for *The Secret Agent,* and three-time acting nominee Ethan Hawke for *Blue Moon*.

When Jordan took the stage to accept his award, he gave a shoutout to his mother, Donna Jordan, who sat next to him in the audience, and his father, Michael A. Jordan, who flew in from Ghana to be at the awards ceremony with their family. He also showed love to *Sinners* director and frequent collaborator Coogler, who won earlier in the night for Best Original Screenplay.

Jordan ran through the list of his collaborators, from fellow acting nominees Wunmi Mosaku and Delroy Lindo to "the people who came before me."
"I stand here because of the people that came before me: Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, Forest Whitaker, Will Smith. And to be amongst those giants, amongst those great greats, amongst my ancestors, amongst my guys..." Jordan declared. "Thank you, everybody in this room and everybody at home to support me over my career. I feel it. I know you guys want me to do well, and I want to do that because you guys bet on me."
