Princess Catherine has received an unexpected invitation from Taylor Swift's husband's family, marking another setback for Meghan Markle.
The Princess of Wales was asked to appear on Kylie Kelce's podcast, Not Gonna Lie. Kylie is married to Jason, the brother of Swift's husband, Travis Kelce.
After Catherine's trip to the Isle of Bute in Scotland earlier this month, Kylie complimented the princess and extended the podcast invitation. Earlier this week, Kate and her husband, Prince William, attended the London premiere of the new Tom Cruise movie, Digger.

Kylie remarked, "Princess Kate just reminded everyone that she's still an absolute boss at field hockey." The host also mentioned that the royal appeared "beautiful doing it."
She continued, "For everyone in the comments who are about to correct me, I'm aware that she's actually playing the Scottish sport of shinty.

"I'm still calling it a win for field hockey because where do you think she got that skill? Yeah, that's right. She's a field hockey player."
She then said, "Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, if you ever wanted to come on and chit-chat about some field hockey and maybe kids.
"I don't know. We got a couple of things in common."

She continued, "Our husbands chatted on the other podcast.
"But you could come on this one. I don't know. Just a thought. It's a thought. We'd love to have you. No pressure. Please."
The Kelce and Wales families have been acquainted for several years, reports the Express. William joined Jason and Travis's podcast New Heights shortly before Taylor and Travis Kelce's big day in New York.
In 2024, the Prince of Wales marked his 42nd birthday in memorable fashion, joining Taylor Swift's highly anticipated Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium alongside his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Discussing the encounter on their podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Jason revealed that Charlotte left the most lasting impression on him, saying, "I gotta say, Prince William was fantastic when I met him, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte.
"She was so f------ adorable. I don't know, maybe it's because I have three girls now.

Earlier this year, reports emerged suggesting that the Duchess of Sussex had been eager to secure an invitation to Taylor Swift's big day, though one never materialized.
