That same day, Netflix released the trailer for Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within, which is set to premiere on Dec. 9.
The documentary is produced by Archewell Productions, Prince Harry and Meghan’s media company, with the couple attached as producers. Meghan also offered fans a sneak peek on her Instagram Stories. Instagram Stories.
"In the heart of Uganda’s Masaka region, where the shadows of the HIV/AIDS crisis linger, a small orphanage becomes a beacon of hope," reads the logline.
"Masaka Kids Africana takes viewers beyond the viral videos to reveal a vibrant, one-of-a-kind community where orphaned children transform hardship into joy, dancing their way toward healing, belonging, and the promise of a brighter future," it continues.

When the documentary was initially announced, it was revealed that Harry and Meghan first discovered Masaka Kids Africana by watching the group’s viral videos with their son, Prince Archie, 6, during the COVID pandemic.
The dance troupe, made up of Ugandan children — many of whom are orphaned — captured global attention online, with the Sussex family counted among their fans.
"They would watch the videos regularly with Archie at home. So, they were already admirers of the organization before the film project came to them in 2023," a spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told The Telegraph in August.

Commenting on what was to come, Meghan said in a statement at the time: "We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand [her lifestyle line, in which Netflix is a partner]. My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision."
