Many tech billionaires have built families as well as massive businesses.
Some of their kids have followed in their father's footsteps, like Jensen Huang's children, Madison and Spencer Huang, who have joined him at the AI chip company NVIDIA. Many others, however, have pursued careers far beyond Silicon Valley.
Take Bill's daughters, for instance — Jennifer Gates became a doctor, while Phoebe Gates has fought for affirmative action (though she also recently got into the fashion tech game).
"People have a lot of preconceptions about me, so TikTok has been a chance for me to tell my own story and also use the attention my family name might bring to spotlight issues that are important to me, like women's health and sustainable fashion," Phoebe stated in a 2023 email interview with The Information.
From the Gates women to Olympic equestrian Karl Cook, here are the heirs and heiresses of the richest people in tech.

Amazon founder and former CEO Jeff Bezos is the father of four kids, three sons and one daughter, with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.
Despite his global fame, Jeff has attempted to keep his children out of the spotlight, with only the name of his oldest son — Preston, which is also Jeff's middle name — known to the public.
Though his kids are rarely seen, Preston accompanied his dad to the 2020 Academy Awards.

Among Intuit founder Scott Cook's three kids is equestrian show jumper Karl, who competed in the Summer Olympics 2024 as a step-in for Kent Farrington and took home a silver medal alongside teammates McLain Ward and Laura Kraut.
After he and actress Kaley Cuocofinalized their divorce in June 2022, Karl married entrepreneur Mackenzie Drazan in April 2024, sharing a photo from their wedding day on Instagram.

Pete Ballmer, the son of former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, has made his own path as an aspiring comedian, writer and producer. According to his official website, he's based out of New York and a paid regular performer at several comedy clubs across the country, including SF Punch Line and Cobb's Comedy Club, as well as a touring headliner.
Despite the many privileges that come with wealthy parents, Pete revealed on a 2024 episode of the Cash Cuties podcast that he felt "deeply uncomfortable" with his father's billionaire status.
"It was not something that I wanted to be a part of who I was," he said. "It's not something that I made a part of my identity."

Steve Jobs' Daughter: Eve Jobs

Eve Jobs, the youngest child of late Apple founder Steve Jobs and billionaire investor Laurene Powell Jobs, is an accomplished equestrian and model.
In his 2011 biography Steve Jobs, written by Walter Isaacson, Steve shared that Eve was "a pistol and has the strongest will of any kid I've ever met." At the time, he also said that he could see her running Apple one day or even becoming president of the United States.
Eve graduated from Stanford University in 2021 and signed with dna Model Management the following year. In May 2022, she also attended the Met Gala.
After three years of dating, she tied the knot with British Olympian Harry Charles, also a competitive equestrian, in a star-studded ceremony in July 2025.
Eve has three siblings, Lisa, Reed and Erin, who have tried to keep their personal lives private over the years.

Melinda French Gates and Bill's oldest child, Jennifer, is the founder of the international show jumping facility Evergate Stables.
She graduated from medical school in May 2024 and is pursuing her residency at Mt. Sinai on the Pediatrics Research pathway.
"A big part of why I'm a doctor is because my dad has always instilled this belief in me that scientific advancements — be they AI ultrasound or a vaccine for malaria — are going to make the world a better place," Jennifer wrote on her Instagram Stories, celebrating her father's debut memoirSource Code: My Beginnings, released in February 2025.
Jennifer and professional equestrian Nayel Nassartied the knot on their farm in October 2021. The couple share two daughters: Leila, born in March 2023, and Mia, born in October 2024.

Jennifer's younger sister, Phoebe, graduated from Stanford University in June 2024 with a bachelor's degree in human biology.
Beyond her studies, she has donated millions to abortion rights groups. She also worked on her father's Netflix series, What's Next? The Future with Bill Gates,and launched Phia, a fashion AI shopping tool app.
In December 2025, Phoebe went Instagram official with boyfriend Chaz Flynn, whom she first dated in high school. She was previously in a relationship with Arthur Donald, the grandson of Paul McCartney.
Bill and Melinda also have a son named Rory John Gates, who keeps his life relatively private. Rory graduated from the University of Chicago in June 2022. He's currently pursuing his PhD at the Institute of World Politics, while serving as an analyst for the Afghanistan War Commission, per LinkedIn.

The only daughter of billionaire Ken Xie — who built the first firewall and VPN and is the founder and CEO of cybersecurity company Fortinet — is already creating her own fashion empire.
Jaime Xie is a model and fashion influencer with over 700,000 followers on Instagram. She's made a living from brand collaborations and partnerships, according to Business Insider, and starred on Netflix's Bling Empire for three seasons.
Per her official website, Jamie grew up in Atherton, "a small town near San Francisco," and her love of fashion stemmed from playing dress-up in her closet after days spent at "a lower and middle school with uniforms."

The SpaceX founder and CEO of Tesla and X (formerly Twitter) has welcomed 14 kids, including six with ex Justine Musk (née Wilson). One of their children, Vivian Jenna Wilson, has been outspoken about her embittered relationship with her father.
Vivian and her twin brother Griffin were born in April 2004. She came out as transgender in 2020, and said that Elon was not supportive of her transition. Vivan told Teen Vogue in March 2025 that she hadn't spoken to Elon since 2020 and didn't "give a f--- about him."
Vivian was granted her request to legally change her name and gender in June 2022, according to court records obtained by PEOPLE. In her original petition, filed shortly after her 18th birthday, Vivian included a short sentence explaining her request for the changes, writing, "Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form."
Vivian calls herself the "Queen of Threads" and has worked as a model. She left the U.S. to study French, Spanish and Japanese abroad in hopes of becoming a translator. As of 2025, she resided in Tokyo.
"I haven't made any money from being famous at all. I have made zero dollars and zero cents. I do live in a lot of people's heads rent-free, though," she told Teen Vogue. "It is my absolute dream to be on a reality show, which I know is absolutely pathetic. As an overdramatic little queer, reality shows are something I adore beyond belief."

The children of billionaire Oracle Corporation co-founder Larry Ellison and his ex-wife Barbara Boothe each have their own stake in Hollywood.
David Ellison's childhood was filled with luxuries only the son of a billionaire would expect, from vacationing on the family super yacht to receiving his first plane at the age of 13. However, he told GQin June 2015that his mother kept him grounded, reportedly giving him a $5 weekly allowance in exchange for doing chores.
During high school, he worked at Oracle during the summers. He pursued a career in film before dropping out of college in 2006 to finance his first film, Flyboys, in which he starred opposite James Franco.
David later transitioned to producing and founded Skydance Media in 2010, which is responsible for films such as True Grit(2010), Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and Mission: Impossible – Dead ReckoningPart One(2023). In August 2025, Skydance acquired Paramount Global with FCC approval, which is now known as Paramount Skydance.
No stranger to takeovers, David outbid Netflix in a proposed merger of Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) — home of HBO Max and CNN — in March 2026, per NPR. Despite thousands of Hollywood actors, writers, directors and producers opposing the transaction in an open letter, WBD's shareholders approved the deal in April. (The proposed deal will move forward to regulatory reviews by the U.S. Department of Justice.)
Meanwhile, daughter Megan Ellison also dropped out of college to focus on the film industry and is a producer. In 2011, she founded Annapurna Pictures, which released the 2013 films Her and American Hustle. Megan made history as the first woman to receive two Academy Award nominations for Best Picture for those projects — and TV series such as Pam & TommyandDead Ringers.
Unlike her brother, Megan has mostly stayed out of the spotlight and rarely gives interviews about her personal life.

Alexa Dell, the daughter of Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell and his wife, Susan, grew up in Austin, Texas, on an enormous estate dubbed "the Castle." She has three siblings, brother Zachary and sisters Juliette and Kira.
The Dell heiress has become the most visible member of her private family, with over 45,000 followers on Instagram. In 2018, Business Insider reported that she started a tech consulting business with dating app Bumble as a client.
Alexa married Frédéric Choquette in Kona, Hawaii, in March 2025, per Vogue. They welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in February 2026, as she shared on Instagram. Alexa was previously engaged to Harrison Refoua, with whom she shares her older child, son Lucien, born in 2019.

Jensen's children have followed the founder and CEO of NVIDIA into the family business.
His daughter Madison is the senior director of product and technical marketing for physical AI platforms, according to her company bio. Before joining her dad's company in 2020, she received her master's degree in marketing and strategy from the London Business School, was a chef in N.Y.C. and San Francisco and worked in marketing strategy and development at Louis Vuitton-Moët Hennessy Group.
Like his sister, Spencer didn't start his career at NVIDIA. He worked in product and strategy consulting at companies such as Pfizer, Ford and Ommo Technologies before joining NVIDIA in 2022.
According to his LinkedIn, he serves as the director of product management. The MIT graduate, who earned a technical MBA from NYU, per his company bio, also founded R&D Cocktail Lab, an award-winning cocktail bar in Taiwan.
Jensen shares both Madison and Spencer with his wife and college sweetheart, Lori Mills.
