Kylie Kelce is giving kudos to Hilary Duff for representing moms everywhere.

Kelce, 34, praised Duff, 38, on her *Not Gonna Lie *podcast on Thursday, commending the mom-of-four for being brave enough to pose on the cover of *Sports Illustrated'*s* *Swimsuit issue.

"Well done," Kelce told Duff, who said she was driving to pick up her kids from school when she got the call to do the iconic swimsuit shoot.

"My first reaction wasn't like, 'Oh my god, yes, I'll do it!' My first reaction was like, 'S---, I got to get in, Iike, rip-roaring shape. And also, I'm not a model. I'm 5-foot-2. I've had four kids. It scared me," Duff shared.

Kelce stated that the photos "suggest otherwise," as Duff posed confidently in various pieces of swimwear on the beach in South Caicos.

"They wanted me to feel my best," Duff said, noting *SI *Swimsuit is women-led and very focused on making the experience memorable and pleasant. "I was like, 'I will do this. This is fun.' I flew to Turks and Caicos for a day the night of the Super Bowl ... and then we shot and we were out of there for my shows in Vegas."

Duff, who recently released new music for the first time in 10 years, said she felt "free" doing the shoot and was "proud" of being asked to star on the cover of the swimsuit issue.

"I cannot explain to you how cool it is to see a fellow mother of four on the cover of a magazine like this," Kelce insisted to Duff. "Because it is like this vision of beauty and this sexy, like, 'I have it.' And I'm not going to say 'still have it' because you have it no matter what as long as you feel like you have it."

Kelce continued, "Once you become a mom, it's different. Your body did what it did, it's not going to be exactly the same way that it was ever again. And so I find it to be unbelievably empowering just to see that you not only said yes to this but look *phenomenal*. You nailed this. You nailed it."

Duff said she had conversations with the *SI* team about not wearing a bikini or showing areas of her body that made her feel less "comfortable," and they completely understood.

"There's so much power in that," she told Kelce. "I am so proud of my body. Obviously, I've worked really hard but my body's worked really hard for me and produced an entire family that I'm so grateful for. That's everything to me."

Duff shares son Luca, 14, with ex-husband Mike Comrie and daughters Banks, 7, Mae, 5, and Townes, 2, with husband Matthew Koma.

Kylie shares four daughters with her husband, Jason Kelce —Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finnley, 1.
