In January, PEOPLE confirmed Kristy filed for divorce from her ex-husband Desmond Scott at the end of 2025; per court records, she alleged infidelity as the reason for their split. The mom of two shares both of her kids — sons Vance, 7, and Westin, 6 — with Scott, whom she married in 2014.The content creator, who also boasts 17.4 million followers on TikTok, has taken fans along with her as she navigates life post-divorce.
In a Feb. 16 post shared to her TikTok and Instagram, the influencer reflected aloud on how her social life had changed since her split from Scott.Addressing her 27 million social media followers, Kristy opened the video by admitting she feels like she's "building my social life from scratch," though she noted how that's not necessarily a bad thing.
"It's just a little challenging," she explained. "I feel like when you have kids, especially when they [are] younger ... you're just so engulfed in that phase of life. It's hard to transition back into 'me time.' "
In her recent video, Kristy explained that having some newfound time to herself has made her realize how difficult it can be to get herself out of the house. The social media star traced her feelings all the way back to the COVID-19 pandemic, when she was spending "so much" time inside.

"I kind of feel like I developed social anxiety, and you would think being online would have helped my social anxiety, but I feel like it made it worse," she said.

Kristy's musings came just over one month after her divorce made headlines when Desmond opened up about the end of their marriage on social media.
"I want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation," Desmond began in an Instagram Stories post shared on Jan. 10. "Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as have always been."

Desmond then wrote that he and Kristy "faced challenges and made sincere efforts to work through them," but after he told her he "wanted to separate" at the end of 2025, the father of two explained he eventually "made choices that I am not proud of."
"I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce," he concluded. "l ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter of our lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. I'm grateful for that support."
