- Comedian Kathy Griffin said she reconciled with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, but instead went on to call them out in a new video.
- The trio were in a years-long feud stemming from Griffin's infamous photo of a Donald Trump mask covered in fake blood.
- Griffin previously told EW she felt Cohen threw her "away like a piece of trash."
After previously telling ** she felt Andy Cohen threw her "away like a piece of trash," Emmy-winning comedian Kathy Griffin has reignited her years-long feud with both the Bravo personality and CNN journalist Anderson Cooper in a new video calling out the media personalities.
Following a tense fallout with Cohen and Cooper stemming from, among other things, her infamous 2017 photo with a bloodied mask that resembled the severed head of Donald Trump, the 65-year-old said in the latest episode of her *Talk Your Head Off* digital series that she's put the feud behind her. But, as the video went on, Griffin clarified that the only reason she's "putting aside" her "beef with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper is because I want you guys to recognize that you have a much larger microphone and platform than little D-lister Kathy Griffin" — and she wants them to use it to amplify the current state of unrest in Minneapolis following ICE's shooting death of Minnesota mother Renee Nicole Good.
"Anderson, why aren't you on the ground? Why aren't you in Minnesota, boots on the ground, being the reporter that I knew you to be?" Griffin asked in the video (below), recalling that she remembers Cooper covering news in dangerous places back when the pair were friends, including the Arab Spring.

"You were covering it, and I believe you were in the middle of a mob at one point that looked quite dangerous, and I know that, as an out, gay man, if your identity were to be revealed in certain cultures, there's a way they would've killed you that's different than the way they would've killed a heterosexual. That's the Anderson I knew," said Griffin. "I just have to call out you and all the other anchors that are sitting in their studios, safe and sound, when you guys should be on the ground in all parts of Minnesota."
Griffin said that "we need a bigger microphone" to amplify voices of people in areas like Minnesota.
"Anderson, I'm imploring you, please go there. If you go there, people will watch and people won't feel like this is only happening in Minnesota," she said, later adding, "It's not easy to take a stance" and that "if you're not standing up for something, you're just sitting down."**

Andy Cohen responds to accusations he had a facelift for New Year's Eve special

She then turned her attention to Cohen.
"Andy Cohen, you have a platform," she said, pointing out the Bravo powerhouse's prominent position as the head of the nightly talk show *Watch What Happens Live*. "I'm imploring you to devote one minute of every episode, *Watch What Happens Live*, to show what's really happening with a government occupation of a U.S. state."
Griffin admitted that the request "sounds out there, but that's what it's going to take" to make progress for the cause.
"I know our beef doesn't really mean anything to you guys. And I'm sick of being asked about it. I've been asked about it for eight long years," continued Griffin, telling them that she now stands by the 2017 photo of her with the bloodied Trump mask because it's "reborn" as people reevaluate Trump's fitness for office during his second term as president.
She said, "Andy, I know in your email to me you described that Trump head photo as 'the Trump fiasco,' but I respectfully disagree. I think that photo is something I now stand by and am very proud of because I was out there, up front, before any celebrity. I'm just a D-list celebrity, I'm not saying I'm the biggest star in the world, you're not going to see me at the Golden Globes, I understand, but you guys have real platforms, and you can make a real change."
Griffin told her former friends that "your voice is important," specifically because of their status as out gay men in media.
"As a gay man, both of you, you guys are next. That's what the Nazis did, okay? They went for the LGBT community — that's not what they were called at the time — but they went for gay folks, and I don't think you guys should be feeling so safe in your white male privilege," Griffin stressed. "Yes, I said it, I'm accusing you of using your white male privilege, because I don't think you guys identified with Renee Good as much as women did."

Before promoting her upcoming tour, Griffin said she felt that "you two guys are kind of looking like you're sitting on the sidelines," and redirected her message "to any public person" that has eyes and ears on them.
In a social media post earlier this week, Cohen responded to Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt, writing, "Girl, ice is raiding churches. Can you stop trolling and do something to make Missouri better?"**
A representative for Cohen had no comment. EW has additionally reached out to a representative for Cooper for a response.
In November, Griffin teased that things were on the mend with Cohen, after the *Watch What Happens Live* host responded to a question about his relationship with Griffin at the BravoCon fan convention that month.
"Well, I mean, look, I think never say never about anyone. Kathy and I emailed the other day, so...." Cohen said, with Griffin later responding in an Instagram video at the time. She called Cohen her "former nemesis," and said that "he emailed me this long email and it was definitely interesting."
Griffin noted that she "emailed him back right away," but that she doesn't "know what's going to happen there" with the relationship. "I have a lot of feelings about that because I feel hurt in a lot of ways that I don’t think he quite understands, but I appreciate that he said, 'Never say never,' because I did love working at Bravo," she continued. "And I would like to do a special at Bravo again, or a series. Never say never!"**

Griffin previously fronted six seasons of her *My Life on the D-List* reality series for Bravo, which won Emmys for the network in 2007 and 2008.
In a 2024 interview with EW, when asked about the end of the popular docuseries, Griffin responded with a question of her own: "Why doesn't anyone ask Andy Cohen these questions? Why am I always having to put my feet to the fire? I'm always asked about Anderson and Andy. That was done *to* me. I don't have an answer," she stressed.

"Nobody goes up to Anderson and goes, 'How could you have done that to Kathy?' Nobody goes up to Andy and goes, 'Andy, how could you do that to one of the stars of your network?'" Griffin said at the time. "Nobody asks them, ever."
Cooper has no involvement with Bravo, but he replaced Griffin as the cohost of CNN's annual *New Year's Eve Live* special alongside Cohen in the aftermath of the Trump scandal. He also found himself at the center of some stories Griffin used as part of her stand-up acts on stage, all while the pair were still friendly.
