JuJu Smith-Schuster is giving Travis Kelce advice, groom to groom.

During a recent interview with NBC Local published by several affiliates on Friday, April 10, the Kansas City Chiefs veteran turned free agent, 29, gave his former teammate and fellow groom, 36, wedding planning advice ahead of his ceremony to Taylor Swift, 36.

“My advice to TK, man, if you see this, man, all I gotta say is just enjoy the process,” Smith-Schuster said. “Obviously, wifey is gonna want what she wants, just do it. That’s gonna be happy wife, happy life, and that’s all I gotta say.”

Although Smith-Schuster played with the Kansas City Chiefs alongside Kelce during the 2022, 2024 and 2025 seasons, he said that they didn't really discuss their wedding plans. However, they do intend to attend each other's nuptials.

“Not so much, but he’s gonna have a great wedding, I’m gonna have a great wedding,” he told NBC Local. “We’re gonna be attending both of them.”

Smith-Schuster got engaged to Laura Kruk in September 2024, and the pair will wed this July. Meanwhile, Kelce and Swift announced their engagement in August 2025, but have not publicly revealed their wedding date. One rumored date and venue was recently debunked by a wedding planner.

Smith-Schuster approves of Kelce's soon-to-be wife, calling her "very cool, chill" and a "fire" baker. He told NBC Local, "She’s a baker. She can bake. Yeah, she’s good at that."

"She’s just normal like us," he added of Swift.

Another NFL player recently raved about Swift and Kelce's relationship and decision to tie the knot.

"In terms of love, man, being able to unconditionally choose who you want to spend the rest of your life with is truly the greatest decision that you’ll ever have in your life," New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston told Us Weekly in March. "And with his choice, being one of the most amazing women in the world, [who] has influenced so many cultures, so many people with her music… it’s gonna be a beautiful thing."

Back in September, a source exclusively told PEOPLE that Kelce and Swift will keep their wedding out of the spotlight. “It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle,” the source said. “They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy."
