Longtime Hollywood couple Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen have separated after 18 years of marriage.

A representative for Biggs, 48, and Mollen, 46, confirmed the couple's split in a statement to USA TODAY on Thursday, May 14. The reason for Biggs and Mollen's separation was not disclosed.

"They are on great terms and remain focused on raising their two boys," the couple's rep said.

Biggs and Mollen met in 2007 while filming the Dane Cook and Kate Hudson romantic comedy "My Best Friend's Girl," which was released the following year. The couple became engaged in January 2008 and eloped in April of that year, marrying in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, according to E! News.

The newlyweds threw a proper marital bash in July 2008 with a wedding ceremony in Napa, California, People reported at the time.

The "American Pie" alum welcomed his first child with Mollen, a son named Sid, in February 2014. The couple's second child, son Lazlo, was born in October 2017.

Mollen paid tribute to her yearslong romance with Biggs in an Instagram post last May, which coincided with the actor's 47th birthday.

"This is a pic of us at your surprise 30th," Mollen wrote at the time alongside a throwback photo of the couple. "We were married, and yet I still knew practically nothing about you. Like, for example, the fact that you hate surprises. Luckily, we made it past that hurdle. Happy 47th, I promise I planned nothing."

In November, the "Crazy, Stupid, Love" actress took a more comedic approach with her affection, sharing a photo of the couple on Instagram with a playful — and potentially NSFW — caption.

"A totally approachable couple not trying to seduce you," she wrote.
