Hailey Bieber shocked fans with a platinum blonde hair transformation on Instagram, though it appears the look is a wig

The style is reminiscent of the Rhode founder's bright blonde hair from 2020

Hailey has had dark hair for several years but occasionally switches up her tone

Hailey Bieber is changing up her look!

At least, on social media she is. In an Instagram carousel posted on Sunday, March 22, the Rhode founder, 29, shared various selfies and other snapshots along with the caption, "different faces and places 🌻"

One slide featured a close-up image of Hailey's face in which she appears to be sporting a short platinum blonde style. The look is a throwback to the model's previous bright blonde era, which she sported in 2020.

Fans are loving the transformation, despite the fact that it's likely a wig.

"Blonde is giving," one user wrote in the comments.

"THE BLONDE OMG WHAT AN ERA," said another.

Another shared, "Blonde hails?????"

Hailey has been blonde for several years, though in 2024, she slightly lightened up her brunette shade.

That September, the mom of one unveiled a blonder hairdo in a new selfie posted on her Instagram Stories.

“Lighter for Fall 💇‍♀️,” she wrote of her new look in the caption, including the hair cut emoji.

In the photo, she rocked honey-blonde highlights in her hair as she wore it loose and looked fresh-faced as she appeared to be bare-faced except for a glossy lip.

Hailey previously has appeared with lighter blonde hair, including in 2021 as showcased in several photos and clips posted on her Instagram taken at the time.

Following the birth of her and Justin Bieber's baby boy Jack Blues Bieber in August 2024, Hailey sported darker hair in a mirror selfie she shared on her Instagram Stories.

“Hi. ✨,” she captioned the snap. In the photo, the star sported minimal makeup with a pink lip as she wore a black T-shirt and matching manicure and her hair in an updo and held up her phone, which sported a pink version of her Rhode lip gloss phone cases.
