In a recent interview, the actress gave a cheerful update on her baby daughter and how she is keeping her busy. The new mom’s pride came through clearly, and her remarks were funny, warm, and instantly relatable.

Since then, the “Sinners” actress had married, and she now had a little girl. When the host mentioned the baby, Steinfeld simply replied with a smile, “I do.”

Talking about her baby, she shared her daughter’s age. The baby is six months old, though time feels strange to her. “I feel like she’s 6 months and also four weeks and also 5 years old,” she said.

The actress also shared the news that her daughter is very mobile. “She is totally on the move,” Steinfeld said. She laughed about a piece of parenting wisdom she now understands. Parents, she explained, become “convinced your child is a genius” when everything is on track. Her own reasoning went, “But she’s crawling already” before calling the infant “a smart cookie.”

The host then asked whether she still finds any time for herself. Steinfeld answered that motherhood has taught her to slow down and enjoy “small pockets of joy.” Her personal time now “looks a little different,” but she finds it.

The update fits what Steinfeld and Josh Allen have shared about their daughter before. The couple married in May 2025 and welcomed their baby girl in April 2026. They announced their daughter’s name, Harper Haize Allen, in July.

The doting parents also recently marked their daughter’s first Halloween. Allen and Steinfeld hosted the Buffalo Bills’ annual Halloween party this year, themed “Allen’s in Wonderland.” Photographs included a pair of tiny feet, and the little one appeared to be dressed as Alice. It was another sweet family moment, and it fits Steinfeld’s earlier comments about savoring life’s small joys.
