The influencer spoke further on the issue of her family’s privacy in a get-ready-with-me video posted on TikTok on Tuesday, July 7. Speaking to her 5.2 million followers on the app, she reiterated that her pregnancy is accompanied by “a lot of mixed emotions” and “a lot of nerves.”

“Like I said, we are so happy and overjoyed. We also are constantly battling multiple emotions at the same time of also grief and missing Trigg and wishing that he was here for this next chapter,” she said. “We knew that it was going to feel very different than any of our other pregnancies have felt. I already think ahead to my birth and how different that’s gonna feel. I think ahead to the day that we bring this baby home and how different that is going to feel, and it is a lot.”

The Arizona mom acknowledged that she was talking about her pregnancy after underscoring the importance of maintaining privacy; however, she said she didn’t feel it was “fitting” to share such big news and then continue to post her normal content.

“I am so excited to share this next chapter with you guys,” Emilie noted in the video. “But at the same time I don’t know how much I’m gonna be wanting to share about my emotions during this pregnancy and how different it already feels and just details like that.”

That said, she explained that she does not intend to show her children online, including the one on the way, even though she posted content featuring the kids prior to losing Trigg.

“While there’s so many things out of my control, I can control what I choose to share,” she said. “I’m very picky about what I do share, when I share it, how I share it, because I really do just do what feels true to me.”
