For Beyond the Gates star Jen Jacob, welcoming her mom to the set of her job was once just a dream. This past week, that dream became reality, and Jacob shared the special moment with fans on social media.

Jacob took to Instagram earlier this week to post a photo of herself and her mom inside her character Ashley Morgan’s living room set. She captioned the image, “Mom got to visit set today. Jacob has appeared on Beyond the Gates as a series regular since the show premiered in February of 2025. She plays Ashley Morgan, a nurse at Garland Memorial Hospital who began the series dating Derek (Ben Gavin), while having a flirtation with Andre (Freeman).

Now in Season 2, Ashley is navigating single life, though that may not last for long, as she explores a potential relationship with new lab tech Grayson (Vilasuso).

Beyond the Gates Season 2 continues weekdays on CBS and streaming weeknights on Paramount+.
