Did Taylor Frankie Paul storm off a date while filming *The Bachelorette?*
During the April 2 episode of *Bachelor Happy Hour,* *Golden Bachelor *alum Kathy Swarts and former *Bachelorette *Charity Lawson chatted with *Bachelorette *season 22 contestant Casey Hux about filming Paul's season.
"There's been some articles about Taylor specifically storming off on one of the dates and obviously we can't really go into super details, but maybe you can confirm, deny, tease a little bit. Like what was that like?" Lawson asked, referring to a TMZ report about their date that claimed Paul had a "meltdown."
Hux, a mechanical engineer from Nashville, said he would "deny and tease a little bit" in answering. "So, I don't know where that came from. We were hanging out at an undisclosed place at an undisclosed time. And she brought up what happened and went into it in very intensive detail," Hux said, referring to the 2023 altercation between her and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen and subsequent arrest, which her daughter Indy was present for. He noted that it was "not something she shied away from."

"So she was the one that brought it up originally and when she did, it took me a little while to process it. So, she brought that up and we were having a really good night at that time and it just wasn't the time or the place and I didn't really know how I was feeling," he said.**

"I brought it up the next time and she was super cool, calm, and collected about it," he continued. "There was no storming off. There was no anger. There was sadness and it's like the only thing that I could imagine is like being worse than like the person on the receiving end of that is like the person that has to live with that for the rest of their lives, right?"
Hux thought their interaction was a "really powerful moment" and was thankful they "got the opportunity to just like sit down one-on-one and and talk about it like that."
Swarts and Lawson commended Hux for his positive outlook on the experience with Paul. "If you have the right attitude and you take advantage of great opportunities that come your way, great things come into your life," the *Golden Bachelor *alum gushed.
Lawson, meanwhile, said that if Hux wasn't the winner of Paul's season, he should be the next Bachelor.**
