A year ago, soft butter yellows were practically inescapable on the red carpet and in celebrity street-style looks. But now, it seems light greens are slowly starting to become the reigning color scheme.
In 2025, the spring was dominated by pistachio hues, while the fall replaced the nutty shade with a starker olive. Then, at the beginning of this year, everyone from Jenna Ortega to Zoe Kravitz seemed to be embracing a “green fairy” aesthetic, proving that green was still the pigment du jour. Now, it seems Alana Haim is keeping that streak alive with two chic day and night looks, styled by Molly Greenwald.

Earlier this week, while promoting her new A24 film The Drama, the actor and Haim band member stepped out for a series of engagements in New York City, beginning on Wednesday afternoon, when she stopped by Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. There, she wore a ruched lime midi dress from the Versace Spring/Summer 2026 collection by Dario Vitale.

She paired the bright springtime design with a floral corsage-like bracelet, as well as a pair of leather Gianni pumps in black, also from Versace. The musician slung a mini monogram bag from Louis Vuitton over her shoulder, and popped on a pair of black Wayfarer sunglasses to wrap up the look.

The following day, the Haim sister demonstrated that green translates just as well to the evening, when she walked the red carpet at the New York premiere of The Drama in an icy mint dress, custom-made by Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton.

Her strappy red-carpet gown featured darting along the plunging bodice, as well as illusion pocket details along the hips and on one side of the chest. Haim accessorized the cinched dress with yet another corsage-inspired bracelet, which was decorated with two fabric flowers modeled after burgundy Cymbidium orchids.
Black satin pumps and a white-gold Tumbler necklace from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry collection rounded out the look.
