Influencer Mike Holston, who is known online as “the Real Tarzann," has been hospitalized following a skydiving accident.

Holsten, 32, posted a photo of himself lying on a hospital gurney on Instagram on Saturday, Dec. 27.

The social media star's right leg could be seen wrapped in bandages, and his neck appeared to be in traction.

Holsten, who creates outdoor adventure and wildlife content for his millions of followers, wrote in his post's caption, “Yesterday I had a Skydiving 🪂 accident."

"I’ll probably be out for a few weeks,” he continued, adding, "I’m pretty banged up at the moment in some pretty good pain but just happy to be alive 🙏🏾."

Holsten told his followers he "will make a full update video on what went wrong." He said, "I know a lot of yall want to see me down but don’t count on it too long 😎 enjoy while you can!"

Holston shared an update with fans in a series of subsequent videos posted on his Instagram Stories.

“Gettin' there. Getting better,” he said in one clip after he was asked about his current level of pain.

“I was f—-- up for like three hours. I couldn't even breathe. My chest was killing me,” Holston added.

In the next video, the social media star went on to reassure fans that he will be okay.

“What's up family? Thank God all is well. They didn't get me off this Earth today, but love you all, happy holidays. Nothing to worry about. Just another rough day in the office. I love you all. And hopefully we will see you all soon,” he said.

The Miami-based influencer made headlines recently in September, when he sparked public outrage during a visit to Australia.

During the trip, Holston shared a video of himself jumping off a boat and then chasing and wrestling a freshwater crocodile.

The video quickly went viral, sparking fierce backlash across the conservation world, including from local animal advocacy organization Community Representation of Crocodiles (CROC), which condemned Holston's actions as “illegal” and “dangerous.”

Bob Irwin, conservationist and father of the late Steve Irwin, also condemned Holston's actions, arguing that tourists who do not respect Australia's wildlife should be “booted out the door," per the BBC.

He also blamed social media for "glorifying" harmful interactions with wildlife. “These posts can have disastrous consequences for both people and wildlife,” Irwin said.

Holston defended his actions, however, writing in the comments section of one of his videos that he did not "encourage anyone to try to recreate" his content.

The social influencer added that he released the crocodile "after a few up-close looks and photos," per the BBC.
